About This Release
After a focused hiatus, Pangea Recordings returns to the underground with Eyes Wide Shut — a four-track EP from veteran duo Alan Prosser and Dan Ferritto. Catalog number PANGE133, released 12 March 2026.
Rooted in deep, progressive house and underground club culture, this EP is built for late-night dance floors and long-form DJ sets. About the Artists
Alan Prosser
With a music career spanning over 20 years, Alan Prosser has had tracks and remixes featured on Ministry of Sound, Fantazia, Global Underground, Cutting Records, Underwater Records and more. Starting to DJ and produce at age 14 — with a Roland W30 and Atari — one of his earliest productions, Sweet Attitude, was licensed to the Boy George Fantazia album and remains sought-after today.
After reaching the finals of the Vestax UK mixing championships in 1998 and accumulating over 100 releases selling 200,000+ records, Alan shifted from harder sounds back to his house roots. Today his sound is a Tech/Progressive fusion of uplifting percussion and deep, dark bass grooves — released on Southern Lights Records, Element, EJ Underground, Substream (Sweden), KG Beats (Chicago), Soundmass (Turkey) and Cutting Records NYC.

Dan Ferritto
DJ-ing since the early 1990s, Dan Ferritto cut his teeth on hardcore and jungle at legendary events like World Dance and Desire, before moving into house and garage at venues including Club UK, Camden Palace and the beloved Strawberry Sundae nights at Cloud 9 in Vauxhall. Deeply rooted in London's South underground scene, Dan was active in the early UK Garage movement before returning to his first love — house music.
A long-running resident across London's most credible venues — from Sound Republic and Bar Rhumba to the White House — Dan joined Southern Lights Records in 2008 alongside Alan Prosser. His current sound is Deep, Tech, and Minimal; a DJ with more than three decades of real dance floor experience behind every production decision.
